The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 12th Class Humanities Private Annual Examinations 2025. The announcement was made on Monday, confirming the outcome of thousands of candidates.
According to the board, 2,791 students registered for the exams, while 2,615 appeared. Out of these, 1,187 candidates passed, setting the overall pass percentage at 45.39 percent.
The top positions this year were secured by female students after close competition. Kiran, roll number 35719, achieved the first position with 79.64 percent marks. Areeba, roll number 35844, came second with 79.27 percent, while Alfiya Shah secured the third spot with 78.55 percent.
The distribution of grades among successful candidates shows a varied performance. One student secured an A-1 grade, while 63 achieved an A grade. Another 252 students obtained B grades, 417 earned C grades, 383 achieved D grades, and 46 students passed with an E grade.
Board officials congratulated the position holders and their families for their hard work. Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho praised the students for their dedication and announced that a ceremony will be held to honour them.
Students can access their detailed marks online. Results are available on the official BIEK website and through the board’s Android application, which allows students to check their performance easily.
The release of the BIEK Humanities Private Result 2025 has once again highlighted the competitive nature of the examinations. While the pass rate remains below 50 percent, the achievements of the top performers reflect strong commitment and academic discipline.
The announcement comes shortly after the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) released the CSS 2025 written exam results. Both announcements have attracted significant attention in Pakistan’s education sector, drawing focus on the academic challenges faced by students across different levels.
