After nearly three years, Shah has now shared her side of the story. Reviewing the viral video on her Instagram, she claimed that Shazia Manzoor deliberately caused the fall.
“Just look at the video. We were supposed to go right, but she pulled me and dragged me down,” Shah explained. She also mentioned that she was wearing joggers underneath her bridal outfit, making a fall highly unlikely. “There was no reason for me to fall. I was wearing joggers under that heavy dress.”
The Dil Mom Ka Diya star further claimed that throughout the performance, Shazia kept her hands on her waist and seemed to be trying to make her trip. Shah suggested the entire incident was orchestrated.
According to Alizeh, the singer later appeared on multiple shows and made fun of her fall. She accused Shazia Manzoor of using the clip as a way to gain media attention.
Shah didn’t stop there. She also mentioned TikToker Jannat Mirza and host Juggun Kazim. She claimed that they became part of the mockery against her by joking about the incident on air.
Calling Shazia “this aunty,” Alizeh expressed disappointment that her fall was turned into a running joke in the entertainment industry.
