Atlas Honda has introduced a new 150cc motorcycle in Pakistan, the Honda CG150, marking a strategic move in the mid-sized bike segment. This launch strengthens the company’s hold on a market it already dominates.
The Honda CG150 Atlas Honda is priced at Rs459,900. It’s aimed at daily riders who want performance, fuel efficiency, and durability in one package.
The bike is powered by a 150cc 4-stroke, air-cooled SOHC engine. It delivers 11.9 PS at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 12.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. With a displacement of 149.2cc and a 5-speed constant mesh transmission, it offers a smooth and consistent ride.
Both self-start and kick-start options are available. The engine uses a 9.1:1 compression ratio, helping with efficient combustion and improved reliability.
Comfort features include a telescopic front suspension with 119mm of travel and twin rear shock absorbers offering 91mm travel. These are designed to absorb shocks during city and rural rides.
The bike’s seat height is 773mm, and ground clearance is 171mm, making it ideal for various road conditions. Its tyres, 2.75-18 at the front and 90/90-18 at the rear, ensure better road grip and safety.
The Honda CG150 also includes an 11.4-litre fuel tank, with 2.1 litres in reserve. It has a wheelbase of 1,316mm for better balance and a chain-based final drive system.
In terms of size, the bike is 2,066mm long, 773mm wide, and 1,069mm tall. These dimensions support both rider stability and easy handling in traffic.
Atlas Honda currently holds more than 50% of the motorcycle market in Pakistan. With this launch, the company is targeting riders who want a mix of power, control, and fuel economy.
In the quarter ending June 30, 2025, Atlas Honda posted Rs62.3 billion in net sales, a 31% rise year-on-year. Gross profit also jumped to Rs7.8 billion, up from Rs4.6 billion during the same period last year.
