On July 8, 2025, Lieutenant General Wang Gang, Chief of Staff of China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), visited Islamabad. He met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), at Air Headquarters.
The visit aimed to enhance the already strong Pakistan China defence cooperation. According to an official statement, both sides agreed to boost collaboration in airpower, joint operations, and advanced training programs.
